Wings of Fire by Abdul Kalam

The book is an autobiography our Former President and Missile Man APJ Abdul Kalam.

Shri Kalam ji was born In Tamil Nadu. His father was a very religious and ethical person who lived for more than a century of years. He had a great impact on Kalam Ji's life through his spiritual bent of life and made him stronger for pursuing his goal.

Kalam sir being an inquisitive student had a dream of becoming a pilot. But more than that his ideas and discoveries led to development of rockets and missiles in the country.

Led by Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, a man of vision, Indian space industry achieved great heights by becoming one of the very few to countries to launch rockets into space. His leadership helped Kalam sir to be creative and take risks to achieve goals.

As a responsible scientist, Kalam sir was very keen to use the space industry for common man's purpose like weather forecasting, resources identification etc.

Even when the First Launch was failed, he was never disgruntled as he had faced many of these things before.

As the title of the book highlights everybody will be having fire in their heart and mind, but it is the only ones who give wings to their fire that will succeed.
